Diving Programs for Kids

The Life Aquatic loves to teach kids to scuba and introducing children to the exciting underwater world. SSI programs start from as young as eight years old. Get the whole family involved and give your kids the chance to discover the joys of blowing bubbles!

The Life Aquatic has a team of experienced scuba instructors dedicated to teaching SSI kids programs to your children, in a safe environment and ensuring your little ones have an experience to remember.

SSI Junior Courses

Kids aged 10 to 14 can not only participate in a Try Scuba Diving program but can also qualify as a certified diver in a range of courses available to “Junior Divers”, including: Junior Scuba Diver; Junior Open Water Diver; Junior Advanced Adventurer.

Once certified as a Junior Open Water Diver a child can dive in any appropriate location, though they are required to dive with a certified parent, guardian or active dive professional.

Ich durfte bei „The Life Aquatic“ meine Open-Water-Zertifizierung absolvieren. Mein Tauchlehrer Tan war klasse. Er hat uns genau angeleitet und uns bei Problemen sofort geholfen. Die Atmosphäre war immer entspannt und wir konnten viel Spass haben. Bei ihnen das Tauchbrevet zu machen, war die beste Entscheidung. Nach dem dreitägigen Kurs sind mein Freund und ich noch zweimal mit Jo und Tan tauchen gegangen. Beide Male waren wir beim Sailrock. Am letzten Tag konnten wir dank Jo sogar zweimal einen Walhai sehen. Sein Können und Wissen haben uns an diesem Tag viele Vorteile erbracht. Ich würde jederzeit wieder mit ihnen tauchen gehen! Io e mia sorella abbiamo svolto il corso di scuba diving quest'estate ed è stata un'esperienza fantastica. Il nostro istruttore Claudio è stato super! Sempre disponibile, molto preparato e divertente! Abbiamo fatto delle immersioni bellissime a koh tao e siamo riuscite anche a vedere lo squalo balena a Sail Rock. Une très belle expérience de plongée, pleine de simplicité et de bonne humeur. Jo, notre moniteur, a tout de suite su nous mettre à l’aise avec son sourire et son énergie positive. Il prend le temps d’expliquer chaque étape et on sent qu’il met vraiment du cœur à nous faire vivre une belle experience. Pouvoir échanger en français a rendu l’expérience encore plus fluide et rassurante. Nous avons eu la chance de plonger en petit comité, juste ma copine, Jo et moi sous l’eau, ce qui a rendu le moment encore plus spécial. Le centre est très réactif aux messages et compte plusieurs dive masters parlant différentes langues, ce qui permet à chacun de se sentir accueilli. Great company - highly recommended. Great team, very friendly and professional. Solid equipement (only minor grip my reg had a worn nub on one side but that wasn't an issue once under water).
