Enjoy an exclusive half-day tour with Oceana Samui on one of our single engine speedboats, a more comfortable way to explore the beautiful and romantic island of Koh Tan (sometimes also called Coral Island for its diversity of colorful hard and soft corals), located in the south of Koh Samui, as well as it's neighbor island Koh Madsum, with it's white sandy beaches and resident pigs, and the Five Sisters in the southwest, home to thousands of swiftlet swallow birds and their nests.
With only 8 passengers maximum on our boats which are licensed for 12 you have more space to relax and enjoy the day. Every boat comes with a Captain and Guide and feature fresh water shower with portable sound systems. Easier access from the rear of the vessel whilst entering and exiting after snorkeling or relaxing on beaches than a traditional long tail boat.
Itinerary
THE FIVE ISLANDS
Situated only five mins by boat from Phangka bay, these islands are populated by swifts, a protected species made famous for the popular birds nest soup dish. The only inhabitants of these islands are the local sea gypsies who protect them from poachers.
KOH TAN
Koh Tan is a short cruise from the the five islands and has the best variety of marine life in this area. Here we snorkel from the speedboat which has easy access ladders at rear. We have the opportunity here to see a wide array of fishes and colourful corals under the supervision of our guide.
KOH MUDSUM
Explore the pristine white beaches of Koh Mudsum, this is the time to unwind and relax whilst taking in the surrounding breathtaking scenery. Spend some unforgettable moments getting to know the local pig inhabitants.
THAI LUNCH
On Koh Mudsum we enjoy a traditional lunch on this paradise island to round of the day perfectly.
